To find places to stay, it is best to go online and see if there are weekend packages for any of the hotels/motels in Victoria. Sometimes some of the better ones have really good deals at this time of year. You should Google” a list of B & Bs for the area. I dont have any idea of the amount of $$ you want to spend. If you find a number of places and cant decide I will help you. Some of the places friends have stayed in so I assume they are reasonable are:- my male friends have stayed at Travelers Inn and Daffodil Inn for dollar value; also my girlfriend stayed at The Oxford Castle Inn. http://www.oxfordcastleinn.com/

The Gorge Rd. area is a great area to find somewhere to stay. Lovely walks along the Gorge. http://gorge.ca/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=13

As for what to see/do ~ where to begin?? There is so much you need to be selective if you have a very short period of time here.

The Inner Harbour and the Empress (although I wont recommend their high tea” because [a] it is too pricey and [b] there is a renovation project underway. You can get high tea just about anywhere! http://www.fairmont.com/empress/?cm_mmc=icppc-
